There are multiple reasons why we should be thankful this upcoming holiday season. One of those reasons is anime. Anime brought light to my sad little world. I’m joking, but there are things that anime brought to my life that I am eternally grateful for.
Without anime, we wouldn’t have…
Waifus & Husbandos
No one is ever alone.…when they have a 2D waifu or husbando.
Anime allows us to pair our favorite anime characters as the ultimate power couple. Watch out Jay-Z and Beyonce.
Fan fiction & Fan art
Along with OTPs, there is fan fiction and fan art of all sorts. Keep ’em coming!
We get to dress up and embody our favorite anime characters. One of Crimson’s favorite cosplayers is Reika.
Character Goods & Merchandise
We give a nice home for our anime merchandise, but they give us a hole in our pockets. @_@
Anime Music (Rap, Remixes, & etc.)
I’m thankful that anime brought us…
Many anime shows dive into serious themes such as the human condition and social/political issues.
We all know a show that (almost) brought down tears to our eyes or made our hearts all warm and fuzzy.
Anime characters are meant for entertainment, but we can easily relate to some of these characters in regards to their troubles or emotional issues.
Here at Unime, one of our core values is to unite anime fans together. We are slowly on our way to doing so. I mean, our blogging team is pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. We are happy to have amazing readers who we are able to talk to. Our group keeps growing and growing and we thank you, readers, for the constant support! So keep reading our posts and spreading the word! If you think about it, without anime, this blog wouldn’t exist.
These are just a few things that I’m thankful for when it comes to anime. Do you have a reason why you are thankful that anime exists in this world? Let us know in the comments.
